Many NEET candidates from all over have registered their complaints that they have received calls from people claiming to be NTA officials and offering to manipulate the NEET 2020 OMR sheets to grant admissions in the colleges as per the choice of the students.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made a move in this direction and has made it clear that these calls are entirely false and deceitful. The NTA has issued an official appeal on its official website where it addressed all the complaints made by students.

The NTA has categorically denied links with any such organization that is capable of granting admissions to the NEET aspirants who appeared for the NEET exam through unjust means. The agency has also made it clear that it does not participate in the manipulations of the OMR sheets.

No Role In Admission Process: NTA

The National Testing Agency has also mentioned in their official press release that the officials at the agency have no role in the admission process of any students. It also denied the possibility of any such communications regarding the result that can be made yet.

The agency said, “NTA does not have access to the phone number or email addresses of candidates hence the question of any association of officials of NTA with any such unscrupulous elements or their arrangement in any such activity does not arise.”

This year, over 14.7 lakh students from all over the country have appeared for the NEET 2020 examination, which was conducted on September 13, 2020. Amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the candidates will be getting admissions to the medical colleges of their choice based on their NEET 2020 scores.
