The Minister of Education in the Union Cabinet, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the date on which the National Testing Agency (NTA) would release the results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020.

The Minister tweeted the announcement on the prominent micro-blogging website Twitter. The minister announced that the NTA would release the result on October 16, 2020. However, he added that the NTA would announce the time of the result publication in a separate press release shortly.

It is good to mention that the Supreme Court, earlier, directed the NTA to announce the result on October 16. The Apex court in its observation told the NTA to hold another test on October 14, 2020, allowing the candidates who could not appear in the test that was held on September 13, 2020,
